Learning Colors

A quick color course for kids can be fun, interactive, and teach essential concepts about colors, mixing, and creativity.

Children learn how color is created through the reflection of light, explore the color wheel, learn about primary and secondary colors, experiment with mixing colors, and apply their growing knowledge of colors to create their own art masterpieces.

Colors are one of the first lessons that you can start when trying to get your toddler ready for pre-k.

Course Content

Learning Colors
o Show examples of red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, black, white & brown items around the house or outdoors. o Use paint, crayons, or markers to create pictures using only these colors. o Ask kids to find objects in their environment that match these primary colors.
