I have a Master's Degree in Education and 5 years of in classroom teaching experience. I have been a private tutor now for over 13 years for children ages 5 years old and up. I tutor elementary, middle, high school and adults. I am familiar with common core and school standards. I would be more than happy to speak with you or your child's teacher regarding their needs.
*** Lesson Details *** While I have extremely high expectations for all my students, I adjust my approach for each student in order to best serve him or her; for many of my students, for example, I design specific programs centered around goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. I am very familiar with different learning styles. I am very flexible in scheduling and meeting my student’s needs. I have been very successful in one-on-one tutoring and have managed to pull many students from grades of D's & F's to A's and B's. For parents needing assistance with writing lesson plans, please let me know! I can work with you to come up with lesson ideas for your children during distance learning as well.
